LOS ANGELES - Dutch scientists think they have discovered the diet that can add almost seven years to one's life and massively cut the risk of heart disease. The so-called "Polymeal" includes red wine and fish -- both known to help prevent heart disease -- dark chocolate -- which is known to reduce blood pressure -- along with fruit, vegetables, almonds and garlic to help with reducing cholesterol.
Following the diet could lead to a massive 76 percent reduction in the risk of heart disease.
Research showed men who follow the diet can live more than six and a half years longer than those who do not. In women, the Polymeal increased life expectancy by nearly five years.
Researchers found the diet did have one unfortunate side effect -- bad breath and nasty body odor.
