i’m sick
Apparently it’s time for my annual cold. I feel like crap, everything aches, and I want to crawl into bed but I’m not tired and there’s a game in 3 hours.
Just got back from seeing Minority Report. Speilberg has apparently forgotten how to edit his movies. Like AI, approximately 1/3 of the movie was total rubbish that you never would have missed. Also like AI, Minority Report was a crap story to begin with. Can’t someone in Hollywood sink a few hundred million into one of the many really good sci-fi stories out there? Please?
I must find some drugs. Or at least a breath mint, as Wendy has pointed out the od d’phleghm.

Damn, that sucks about Minority Report. I haven’t seen it yet but I had high hopes afterh the travesty that was A.I.. Hell, the first half worked on it’s own then comes in Spielberg and wtf were with the fucking ALIENS? It was like watching Highlander 2 for the first time in sheer horror as you find out their ALIENS! Guh. Oh yeah, and Vanilla Sky was a rip off of a Spanish film which also had Penelope Cruz playing the exact same part. About 3/4’s of the way through the end credits on Vanilla Sky you can see a “Loosely based on” credit for the original who’s name translated to “Open your eyes” and I’d like to say loosely? It was exactly the same except for the language and the actors. Direct remake. Sad when they take a good film and make it mediocre. La Femme Nikita/Point of No Return anyone? Brigette Fonda yummy tho. Mmmmm. Babbling again. Shit. Later.
