I typed up a whole entry and forgot to save the damn thing before I logged out. So now I have to recall my brilliance…

Spending most of the morning pulling client sites off the server… kind of a bummer, but they weren’t paying enough to make it worthwhile so fuck em.

Took the 5 minute IQ test, link courtesy of Jason. Got a 137. Need more brain power. Or a shot of whiskey. Anyway, my score apparently qualifies me to join their society, although I have a feeling anyone with a credit card qualifies.

Quick review of “24 Hour Party People” as mentioned in yesterday’s blog… if you liked Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays, the whole Madchester scene… you’ll like the movie. If not, you’ll hate it. Simple as that. I personally enjoyed it, although I have issues with the “Manchester as the birthplace of rave culture” ending. The suited yahoos at the screening mentioned the movie will get a limited release here in the US… I’ll be surprised if the movie makes enough to cover the cost of flying the prints over.
