If you actually like comcast... then why not try downloading as many files as most normal computer literate users do and see how fast they try to pull a fast one on your conncetion speed and pull the KBs Per second down to 5. HAHHA!!! Actually WTF!!! Your not supposed to be downloading KBs per second on comast. HAHAH AND GET THIS!!! The modem they give me seems to change the Connection speed on Taskmanager to 10MBits to 50Mbits to 100Mbits every other day yet it still runs like a slug on crack and cocaine. FUCK OFF COMCAST!!! We also use a wireless router, but I made sure that it wasn't the problem by disconnecting the router and running the program to come up with the same problem. The point of doing this was when I would call Tech-Support, then they couldn't give me any of their bullshit about it. So, I call them and I'd be hard pressed to find someone who actually would know how bypass the "firewall" that is running (keep in mind, this isn't the same type of shit that is already installed on WinXP). As NOT to my surprise, they said that they had nothing to do with it and it had to be Linksys (the makers of our Router), which as I already explained as bullshit. My Dad called Linksys anyways (which I personally trust their word over Comcast's) and they said it had to be Comcast, but were stuck in a fucking loop hole here. Also, their service was down today for a good 6 hours in my area. Hell, even AOL probably wouldn't have a downtime that long. The point is, FUCK YOU COMCAST YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT.
