back from coachella…
that was pretty damn fun. random thoughts…
stayed at the same hotel as the hives and ladytron… nothing like seeing the hives at breakfast, looking a bit rough.
highlight was definately underworld… surprises - gomez and fc kahuna. kick ass. blur was ho hum, as was primal scream, the white stripes, blue man…
vip areas rule. no lines for putting beer in or getting it back out again. too bad all the assholes are there too. particularly the hot dog puking guy. speaking of assholes, the urb after party was interesting. at least there was free cheese and booze.
lots of really bad hats.
50 degree temperature shifts are hard to dress for. which might explain why so many people simply chose not to dress.
