to head out for coachella. cd case is loaded; clothes are packed; ridiculous amount of money to pay for beer and water has been withdrawn.

finally.. after months of being completely uninspired and unable to sit at the keyboards for more than 10 minutes without giving up, i finished a song yesterday.

and there was great rejoicing.

a few hours hanging out in the studio listening to alanis work on a few new songs… now i’m printing out my coachella schedule (and map) and sorting out my schedule. overall, none of the bands i want to see overlap too much.. a few hairy spots where I’ll have to decide quickly if the live show sucks or not and hoof it over to wherever choice #2 is going to be…

Can’t recommend it enough. Hilarious. Good to see a smart, well-written (ok, well improvised) movie again. To be honest, it’s not the best they’ve done… Waiting for Guffman and Spinal Tap were considerably better, but I think this is a bit above Best in Show…
