laying down the tracks
Been doing production work this week on an album Rob’s producing… I’ve done loops and effects and whatnot for about 5 songs so far, another 6 or 7 to do over the next week or so. Went over and hung out while the boys were recording tonight, and ending up laying down my first live keyboard parts, so that was fun. Good stuff, should be a great album and interest is being expressed by appropriate people, so I might even make a little bit of cashola off of what I’ve done if things work out right. If nothing else, it’s good practice, my name all over the credits, and a door to future work doing more of the same….
Regardless, I really enjoy it and it’s what I’d prefer to be spending my time doing. So I’m damn happy I’m doing it.
