no sleep issues today
in fact, it was rather difficult getting out of bed at 10am. i’m still groggy. had dinner at el torito in beverly hills with john d last night, fantastic food (mmm… tortillas with honey butter) and then headed into deeper hollywood and to the studio to drop off a final pass on a song. showed up and everyone was in a bad mood and technology was failing (pro tools crashing, etc) so it didn’t look good… but sat around for a bit, opened up a glass of wine or three, and eventually everything was up and running, my stuff got a listen, some good comments, some suggestions of different directions to take… so not bad, all in all.
so today i’m looking through various sound libraries to add to my collection which are more on the mark for what they’re looking for…
and trying to get money out of clients.
