what was looking to be a low key memorial day weekend with no real plans quickly spiraled out of control… friday was actually spent doing next to nothing… i think we saw shrek 2 that night, what was awesome… saturday was just going to be dinner in hollywood, which involved a few beers… but then an art opening, a purchase there, a few more glasses of wine, off to a friend’s house to throw rocks at his window because we thought he was home, then boardners…. then finns on the way home to close it down… sunday, a visit from my sister who randomly showed up in town, then a sort of bbq without a bbq at ej’s place that involved a good 12 bottles of wine for considerably less than 12 people… and i spent all day today getting a new tattoo. which friggin’ hurt. i forgot how much they hurt. looks fantastic though. pictures after it’s healed

not much going on, really.

Finally couldn’t handle the flickering viewsonic monitors anymore… they were driving me nuts. if anyone wants a viewsonic va800 lcd, let me know… picked up two dell 2100fps and couldn’t be happier. they’re beautiful, more screen real estate, smaller footprint, and they don’t flicker on me. loverly.

off to see charlie mars play tonight at the roxy… should be a great show, he’s kicking some ass these days… here’s hoping he goes far.
