the first debate

Went over to Dehais’ to catch the first debate with the Skeelster.. an enjoyable evening. The miller flowed like wine.

Anyways, I could rip Dubya Dubya III to shreds but what difference would it make? The things that I and other like minded folk find so abhorrent about the man are the same things the others in this country like. He’s a moron (read: he’s just like me! he’s an everyman!). He refuses to pay any mind to the rest of the world or be a global politician (we’re number one! we’re number one! fuck france!). It just doesn’t matter. Kerry will win if he can keep this pace up for all three debates. If he can mobilize the democratic base and get enough of the moderate republicans. End of story.

My take? He impressed me. For once, I got past “anyone but Bush” and actually thought he’d be alright as a president. He’s smart. He’s well versed. He knows what’s going on and seems commited to being a real leader of the free WORLD rather than just this one part of it. Good for you. Keep it up, asswipe, or else we’re really, really fucked.

What I really can’t understand is how ANYONE can be undecided at this point. There are really, really marked differences. I just don’t get it. How can you possibly not know how you’re going to vote? I mean, come on. I really do get why some people are going to vote for Bush, and I don’t hate them for it. They’re scared. This whole administration has pretty much made their platform “vote for us or some muslim will kill you”. Ok, I understand why you might buy into that and be convinced. fine.

But how can you not know? How can you sit there and think, well, jeez, I just don’t know?

Lameasses. Shit or get off the pot. For fuck’s sake. Believe in the right to choose? Vote Kerry or else it’s gone. Or vice versa. Think the rest of the world is important? Vote Kerry, or if not, then vote Bush. This is pretty fucking black or white, people.

Great post! During the whole debate, I couldn’t get past the fact that Dubya looked just like the monkey Curious George! :)

just finished watching the doors that movie makes you tripped…did you notice as they kept opening their mouths they continued to contradict themselves? they jabbered back and fourth like little boys fighting over a toy train.it was completely halarious but black and white. It reminds me of parliment in london how they sit in a room and you get to watch it on tv the whole day picking their noses, bickering, and eating their lunch.

you know who your voting for and if you say you don’t, you just don’t want to tell anyone, heh.

thats my opinion anyways..hell yeah! ;0
