yay rain (fuck yeah!)
I love the rain. I want to put on the Cure’s Disintegration, brew a nice hot cup of earl grey and curl up in a corner and read russian novelists.
Unfortunately, that’s not to be. Continued to work my ass off most of the day, hit the gym (can’t do the bike ride with the rain going on), and then headed over to ej’s to hang with skeely, ej, marie, wen and jason to watch the boston red sox pull off another amazing, heartbreaking, painful, anxiety ridden win. I don’t even give a shit about baseball, but with ej and skeely being die hard red sox fans, this has been infectious. Can’t wait to watch the final game with them tomorrow, light up the bbq, and hit the beers.
tonight, jason was there to help me sort through some hardcore server shit through the stolen wi-fi… hopefully the server is in better shape now. he sorted out some crap that had me perplexed for the past few days.. cheers for that. he don’t give a crap about baseball either, but apparently he’s coming back for game 7 tomorrow as well.
beyond that.. just work, work, work. no amazing halloween plans, which, if you know us, is really sad. this is OUR holiday. oh well. we’ll see what happens.
the cd burning update - just started the t’s. current count? 14,523 songs, 47 days, 2 hours, 10 minutes and 29 seconds of music, 87.51 gigs.
Oh, and one more note. if you’re an aspiring musician, thinking about your album…
when you’ve recorded it, and you’re doing your tracklisting and sorting out your standard 12-14 songs….. well, please, PLEASE don’t be fucking cute, and put 55 to 57 one second blank tracks so you can put your shitty, not good enough to make the album “hidden bonus track” on track 69.
I’m fucking tired of clicking off 55-57 tracks so i don’t have to import them. ALOT of other crap artists had the idea before you. Trust me, I know. So don’t do it.

I’m glad to see the Red Sox thing is catching on, even with people who aren’t big baseball fans. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out HBO’s documentary “The Curse of the Bambino” which will make you feel even more for the Red Sox and their fans than you already might.
Even if it is narrated by Ben Affleck.

Affleck’s a Red Sox fan? Well, in that case, fuck the red sox.
