Arianna weighs in, and Slate does a nice piece, but where’s Moore? We’ll have to wait until tonight for John Stewart, although he got his point across pretty well in the hour special last night… and Maher on friday…

Okay, so you have my attention, I like the “Slate” article and now I get what you were saying in your post below-something needs to change with how the Democratic party portrays itself and the meaning behind what it stands for. So, where do we sign up? How do we help change this? Four years is not that long, although I fear what could happen in that time.
We are listening, Brian-now what? btw-there are 2 people posting as NobodySpecial so I added the “1″ to clarify (I am the first NS that posted). Also, I am finding solace in your “blog” and “comment section” at the moment and enjoy reading what others are feeling/saying.
Jason-I kind of agree with you about the southern states, maybe the “Slate” suggestions offer a better way. The Democrats need to be able to express that their party also stands for good morals , just not righteous ones!

I do support Michael Moore and I did vote for Kerry but I think Michael Moore may have shot himself in the foot by misrepresenting some facts in Fahrenheit 9-11. I kind of wonder why he did that? It really killed any credibility that he could have gained with people on the fence.
