Wanted: Dead or Live
Sunday, June 26th, 2005Amungus will be playing at the Rockin’ at the Knox show Wednesday the 29th in Buffalo. Not really sure when in the evening yet, but at some point. So be there or be square.
Back to work. Gotta finish the set.
whoops
Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005Didn’t make it to see Last Conservative last night… catching up on work and waited way too long to get my Buffalo plane tickets, so we were engaged in an agonizingly long search to get the cheapest tickets possible. Man, there should be an easier way. Anyone want to develop a real time meta-filter for plane tickets?
batman begins
Tuesday, June 21st, 2005Took a late night break last night and went to see Batman Begins… pretty damn awesome. Even blew the Tim Burton one away. Looking forward to the next one…
Also, Michael Palin’s “Himalaya” premiered on the travel channel yesterday, which was great. I love his travel docs so it’s great to have a new one out there.
Heading out to the Mint tonight to catch Last Conservative play… if you’re in the area, go out and see them in a small venue while you still can.
AMUNGUS
Friday, June 17th, 2005Yes, I finally have product. And a store to sell it in. So I somewhat proudly present the first Amungus album (sort of). “Life, the Universe and Everything”, a 42 minute piece we did for the Albright Knox “Rockin’ at the Knox” exhibit, in Buffalo, NY, which is currently running and features Wendy’s artwork, of course. We also played there last week, and we’re heading back to play again on June 29th, along with Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Last Conservative and the Juliet Dagger.
The store is sort of launched; we’ll be putting more stuff up, including Wendy’s artwork, in the next few days.
