AMUNGUS
Yes, I finally have product. And a store to sell it in. So I somewhat proudly present the first Amungus album (sort of). “Life, the Universe and Everything”, a 42 minute piece we did for the Albright Knox “Rockin’ at the Knox” exhibit, in Buffalo, NY, which is currently running and features Wendy’s artwork, of course. We also played there last week, and we’re heading back to play again on June 29th, along with Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Last Conservative and the Juliet Dagger.
The store is sort of launched; we’ll be putting more stuff up, including Wendy’s artwork, in the next few days.

The title of the disc…would you by chance be a Douglas Adams fan?

I was at the Knox on the 10th and MIA both days and Amungus was amazing full stop. Love the cd. The whole weekend was really inspirational - the gallery exhibit sparked something in me - the ambient piece swirling around the place was just perfect. When i got home on monday night, i put the cd in, stuck it on ‘repeat’ and dusted off a painting that i started last year and had abandonned…felt really good. So, thanks for that - and definately for the music. Want more already.

Working title was “Thanks for all the Fish”… the concept just kind of stuck.
