Heading off to buffalo in a few weeks to headline (well, we’re playing last on the last day, so that sounds like headlining to me…) the 2006 Music is Arts Festival. Working up a fun set for this year… some of our older stuff, some new stuff… should be good. Looking forward to it, although I’ve been so busy with the day job it’s been rough trying to pull everything together to do a decent live set.
Speaking of live music… I just got tickets for Bauhaus and Nine Inch Nails at Irvine Meadows. Strange. 18 years ago, I saw Nine Inch Nails for the very first time, opening up for Peter Murphy on his first (maybe second… it was a long time ago) solo tour. Time flies…
so i don’t have to blog if i don’t wanna.
been busy. lost 10 pounds in two weeks. working like crazy. end of story.
I’ve bitten the bullet and gone and hired myself a trainer to lose those last pesky (well, quite a few, actually) pounds. He’s actually kind of cool, having trained a number of musicians and what not, and drops hilarious metaphors (the best one so far involving per diems and bank accounts as relating to calories)… but the bastard did put me on a 5 day cleansing diet consisting of nothing but fruits and vegatables. I’m on day four, and surviving - mostly because fruits and vegatables are Wendy’s regular diet and she’s got this shit down and knows where to go for seriously good stuff - but I have hit my vegatable wall today. I woke up dreaming of chicken breasts.
sometimes you’ve just gotta put on love and rocket’s “earth sun moon” and just chill the fuck out.
this is one of those times.
