Our store finally has more than my CD in it. Wendy’s selling her artwork, we’ve got a few t-shirts…. check it out!

And Wendy’s having yet another stellar art opening… the alternative photography contest on August 11th… be there or be rectangular. More info at wendymarvel.com….

The game was pretty amazing. Wanted the French to win (gasp!) but not unhappy with the outcome. Sad to see a final go to penalty kicks; sadder still to see one of the game’s finest players get red-carded out for a stupid, stupid move. What were you thinking Zidane? You just killed your legacy.

Some pics from Finn’s…

It’s been a long week.

Wen’s off visiting family - again - and I’m minding the store. Hasn’t been too much going on - just an audit, some work craziness, and everything breaking. Yay! My music system is down and out for the count, and dell’s been a bit slow about taking care of it.

On the plus side, i’ve spent a lot of time reading and listening to music and just generally having some downtime, since I don’t really have a choice. And i’ve desperately needed it. I feel pretty rejuvinated.

Now, that was a great game.

Fun from start to finish… still think Portugal got robbed on a penalty kick call that should have happened. If that game had evened up at that point… whoa!

So we’re down to an Italy/France final on Sunday… I think the Italians will take it, even though France is playing better at the moment. The whole italian backstory is going to fire them up for the final.

But, as per usual, the better game will be on Saturday. They’ve got nothing to lose, and will just play a hell of a game, as opposed to the final which will be heavily defensive and conservative. So, the Germany v Portugal game is the one to watch… I think Germany will take them, but who knows? It’s Figo’s last chance to shine… the German team is young, they’ll all be back in 2010..

And I will be in South Africa for those games.
