Disappointed? Yes… I would have loved to see Germany in the final. But it was probably one of the finest games in the Cup so far. Italy played great, Germany played great, dominating most of the game… but luck was not on their side, and nothing would go in. At halftime, I knew the score - Germany would keep having the best chances, but wouldn’t put one in, and eventually the Italians will get a counter attack and score.

And that’s exactly what happened.

Oh well. On the plus side, I’ll be able to watch the final and just enjoy it, instead of getting all stressed out.

Good work, boys. Maybe next time.

Oh, and that Eddie Izzard thing (i read the comments, see?)… yeah, I know, he’s been doing a bunch of shows here in LA again. I won’t be going - I’ve already seen two of the warm ups and don’t really want to see any more of the work in progress at this point. I’ll wait for him to finish it up and then see the real show when he rolls into town with it… it’s kind of like being in the studio for the creation of a whole album - destroys the magic if you see too much behind the curtain…
